My early verdict
Recommended—if you want precise joint placement and a device you can realistically keep in your routine.
MOVE+ makes the strongest case for someone whose knee, shoulder or hip keeps interfering with training, cycling, travel or ordinary movement, and who is willing to pay more for a focused system with settings I find fairly easy and a case I judge convenient and bag-friendly.
It is a weaker fit if you want broad, whole-body exposure; the cheapest possible red-light option; unrestricted movement at every joint; or proof that it has already changed my pain. I do not have that MOVE+-specific pain result yet.
Fast buyer filter
Consider MOVE+ if you want:
- Targeted placement around a knee, shoulder, hip or another specific area.
- Three independently positionable modules rather than one broad light source.
- A choice of 5-, 10- or 15-minute sessions.
- A compact system with a case that I judge convenient and bag-friendly.
- A tool that can complement the basics: diagnosis when needed, rehabilitation, progressive loading, sleep and sensible load management.
Skip it if you want:
- Broad, stationary exposure across a large area of the body.
- A low-cost entry point.
- A guarantee of pain relief, healing, inflammation reduction or faster return to sport.
- Evidence that MOVE+ has already reduced my own pain.
- Fully mobile hip use; I have only confirmed hip fit while lying down.

Why this matters to me
A recurring joint problem rarely stays neatly inside one joint. It changes the ride you choose, the exercise you avoid, what you pack and how confidently you move through the day.
That is why I care less about impressive-looking hardware than whether I can place a device where I want it, choose a short session with settings I find fairly easy and carry it conveniently. MOVE+ clears those practical fit and ownership bars for me.
What I found on my knee, shoulder and hip
Knee: the strongest mobile fit
MOVE+ fits my knee well, and I can stay mobile while wearing it there. Of the three positions I tried, this is the most convincing combination of targeted placement and freedom to move.
Shoulder: it fits, but movement is harder
It also fits my shoulder well. I can move while wearing it, but shoulder movement is more challenging than knee movement. I would not describe it as effortless or unrestricted.
Hip: confirmed at rest only
I can fit MOVE+ on my hip while lying down. That is the limit of what I have verified. I have not confirmed walking, training or other mobile hip use, including with the optional Extender Strap.
The ownership experience
The small modular form is a large part of the appeal. I judge the system compact, the case convenient and bag-friendly, and the product itself beautiful. The settings are fairly easy to understand and use.
Those are my practical judgments, not measured claims about the complete kit’s packed size or weight. I am also not claiming it is the smallest, lightest or most portable option on the market.
Why the design makes sense
MOVE+ uses three modules that can be unclipped, rotated and repositioned around the strap. Each module has two emission areas, with eight 660 nm red LEDs and ten 808 nm Class 1 VCSEL infrared laser diodes per module. That architecture matters because it lets you aim the modules around a specific joint instead of simply facing a large area toward a panel.
Kineon technical specificationsKineon quick-start guide
The useful point is placement, not specification theatre. Wavelength, geometry, contact and positioning all affect how light reaches tissue, but the design itself does not prove a particular result for you.
What the evidence says—and what it does not
The broader low-level laser therapy evidence gives me a reasonable basis for taking this category seriously. A 2019 systematic review of 22 placebo-controlled knee osteoarthritis trials found pain and disability benefits under specific dose protocols; MOVE+’s published 808 nm wavelength falls inside one of the wavelength ranges examined.
2019 knee osteoarthritis review
That does not make MOVE+ clinically equivalent to those protocols. The device’s published surface-fluence figures and the review’s joules-per-treatment-spot figures are different measures, so I am not claiming dose equivalence. Newer knee evidence is supportive but uncertain, and the wider evidence across tendinopathy, exercise recovery and injured athletes is mixed and outcome-specific.

My conclusion is practical: the evidence supports considering targeted photobiomodulation as a complement. It does not replace the work that restores capacity, and it does not let me promise pain relief, better performance or a faster return to sport.
Routine and what comes in the box
MOVE+ offers 5-, 10- and 15-minute controls. Kineon’s conservative published guidance is generally 10–15 minutes daily per area, with a maximum of twice daily. Follow the current instructions for the device and your own situation rather than treating my routine as a prescription.
Kineon quick-start guideKineon technical specifications
The current base listing includes:
- Three LED/laser modules.
- Adjustable Strap 3.0.
- Charge case.
- Travel case.
- Charging cable.
- User manual.
- Quick-start guide.
The Extender Strap is optional and is not included in the base MOVE+ bundle. Jason’s supplied kit included one separately, so do not assume it will be in your order.
Is MOVE+ worth USD 499?
USD 499 is a premium purchase. For me, the value is not that MOVE+ makes the biggest promise. It is that the three modules can be positioned around different joints, the sessions are short, the settings are fairly easy, and the system is compact enough that I would actually keep it close and use it.
When checked on 15 August 2026, Kineon listed MOVE+ at USD 499, compared with USD 699, and Jason’s affiliate route offered 10% off the order. Confirm the discount, availability, shipping and final total before paying. If the link does not apply the discount automatically, JASONRYER is the fallback code; verify that it has been accepted before payment.
Kineon’s governing 30-day satisfaction guarantee is conditional. It requires daily 5–15-minute use for 30 days and applies when there has been no reduction in pain or inflammation; shipping is excluded. Recheck the current refund policy before buying. I would not describe this as risk-free.

MOVE+ versus a panel or FlexBeam
Choose a panel for broad, stationary exposure
A panel makes more sense when you want to expose a larger area while standing or sitting in one place. MOVE+ makes more sense when you want light held directly around a specific joint and a system that is easier to carry between locations.
Compare FlexBeam if you want broader single-device coverage
I have a longer real-world use history with FlexBeam. Its curved body provides broader coverage in one piece, while MOVE+ gives me three smaller modules I can position around a localized target. FlexBeam’s current direct price was USD 599 when checked, making MOVE+ USD 100 less at their then-current direct prices before any discount, shipping or fees.

Neither is the automatic winner. Choose by the routine you will follow: broader single-device coverage with FlexBeam, or more modular, targeted placement with MOVE+.
Buying MOVE+ from Thailand
Kineon’s shipping policy lists Thailand via TH Direct Line at an estimated 7–10 days in transit, after 1–2 warehouse-processing days. These are estimates, not an arrival promise, and weekends or national holidays can affect fulfillment.
Shipping is calculated at checkout. Kineon says quoted shipping includes import tax and duty, while also warning that some countries may impose additional local fees. Do not assume a fixed landed cost until you see the checkout total and any local charge.
Kineon has confirmed an after-sales support route for Asia through its regional manufacturing and fulfillment partner. Support is available, but I have no verified promise for response time, repair location, replacement timing or outcome.
Frequently asked questions
Does Kineon MOVE+ work for pain?
The category evidence is supportive under specific protocols, especially in knee osteoarthritis research, but it is not a guarantee for this device or for you. I have not yet established a MOVE+-specific pain result from my own use.
Can I walk around while wearing MOVE+?
On my knee, yes: the fit is good and I can remain mobile. On my shoulder, movement is possible but more challenging. On my hip, I have only confirmed the fit while lying down.
Is the Extender Strap included?
No. It is optional and excluded from the current base MOVE+ listing. Jason’s supplied kit included one separately.
How long is a session?
The controls offer 5, 10 and 15 minutes. Kineon generally recommends 10–15 minutes daily per area, with a maximum of twice daily.
Is MOVE+ better than FlexBeam?
Not across the board. MOVE+ is the more modular option for localized placement and had the lower current direct price when checked. FlexBeam gives broader coverage in one curved device and has the advantage of my longer use history. The better choice depends on the routine and coverage you want.
What will MOVE+ cost me in Thailand?
The official US price was USD 499 when checked, before any applicable 10% discount. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and additional local fees can still occur. Confirm the final total before paying.
Final verdict
I recommend MOVE+ for the active person who wants precise placement around a recurring knee, shoulder or resting hip issue—and who values a compact, attractive system enough to pay for convenience and keep using it.
My strongest firsthand proof is practical: it fits my knee well while I move, fits my shoulder well with more limited movement, and fits my hip while I am lying down. The case feels convenient and bag-friendly to me, the product is beautiful, and the settings are fairly easy.
Skip it if you need broad whole-body exposure, unrestricted hip mobility, the cheapest option or proof of my own pain response. For the right buyer, though, MOVE+ has earned my full recommendation.
