Healthy Farang exists to help people make better health decisions in Thailand. A page should first answer whether the product, place, food source, experience, provider, or practice fits the reader’s problem. A buying link comes after that decision.

What the evidence labels mean

Jason used it

Jason personally used the product or service. The page should state how, when, and for what purpose when those details matter.

Jason visited

Jason personally visited the place. Current hours, prices, and access can still change.

Jason interviewed the source

Jason spoke directly with the founder, supplier, provider, or another relevant source.

Supplier confirmed

A supplier or provider directly confirmed the named fact. It remains their statement unless Healthy Farang independently tested it.

Community reported

A customer or local community member shared the experience. It is useful context, not universal proof.

Research reviewed

The page uses relevant primary or authoritative sources. Research evidence does not automatically prove a specific seller’s claim.

How recommendations are written

• State the bottom line near the top.
• Say who it is for and who should skip it.
• Separate firsthand experience from supplier claims and research.
• Check the Thailand buying, booking, delivery, support, or access route.
• Date prices, availability, and other facts that can change.
• Give the reader a concrete next action.

Affiliate links and referrals

Healthy Farang may earn a commission or referral fee when a reader buys, books, or contacts a provider through a tracked route. The reader should not pay more because of the relationship unless the page explicitly explains different terms. Relevant commissions, discounts, supplied products, or commercial relationships are disclosed on the page.

Commercial value can affect which useful page receives attention. It does not change the evidence label or justify a stronger verdict than the facts support.

Corrections and updates

Prices, stock, hours, providers, research, and Thailand buying routes change. Material updates receive a new date and a fresh check. If you find an error, send the exact page, the statement that is wrong, and a source or firsthand detail that helps correct it.
